Matcha is Japanese green tea powder made from finely dried tea leaves. It has a slightly bitter, grassy  taste and a vibrant green colour from the high chlorophyll levels in the green tea. Matcha’s Umami flavour can be an acquired taste. It goes really well with white chocolate

Matcha contains more caffeine than regular tea but less caffeine than coffee
